Creating Your New Default Setting!
“By challenging yourself to try new things, you become accustomed to adapting!”
There always seems to be areas that we default to when the going gets tough. Sometimes our lives seem so predictable that it’s not even funny. When we start projects, it’s easy for us to predict why we’re going to fail, because it’s the area we go to when we get tired of what we’re doing.
The key lies in change, "If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten."
We discovered in our "Be All You Can Be" classes, until you decide to make a change in your life, you’ll always go back to the old way of doing things. When you make changes, it can feel very awkward at first. As we put a plan together and start doing what we need to do, after a while it will start to feel more natural.
For example, my previous default was to procrastinate and always look for the easy way out. Now I work with an action plan, and try to pack as much into a day as humanly possible. This now feels normal and I’m getting bunches done.
Learning how to create a new default setting in your life is key to "Being All That You Can Be." This is why it’s critical for us to get together, at our meetings, for support and ideas that will help us achieve our destiny.
I know some of you aren’t in the area or the timing isn’t always the best. Give us a call and perhaps we can work out another time and place.
